Matthew 11:28-30

   I have had this passage of Scripture on my mind the last few days and, what do ya know, my Pastor had it as part of his text on Sunday night. I am just really thankful that God is ALWAYS there for me...no matter what. God has promised that He will never leave me nor forsake me. All I need to do is put my trust in Him.

 ²⁸Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

 ²⁹Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

 ³⁰For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

   I have found myself praying lately, "Lord, I just need to feel Your arms wrap around me....I really need to feel the safety of being in Your embrace..." There is nothing like being in the Presence of Almighty God. Psalm 27:10 (I believe) says, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." It's so good to know that no matter who forsakes us in life...the Lord is ALWAYS there for us, and He will come and wrap us in His arms...all we need to do is ask.
